Hi I'm Kay, owner of Kilry Eco Pods. I recently moved to the absolutely stunning Glen Isla in February 2018. After surviving a health scare, I decided that I no longer wanted to earn a living in the corporate world. I wanted to be able to share this little piece of paradise that I am building a home on, and also to be able to offer young carers and foster carers and their foster children an opportunity for some respite too.
My Story
I'd like to be able to make a living, but also be able to put something back into the community too. I am a keen photographer and love the outdoors. This area has so much to offer. I hope that everyone that stays here, can appreciate and enjoy the peace and tranquillity as much as I do, after a day of walking. Having walked the West Highland Way the hard way a few years ago, I think I would have appreciated a proper bed and a hot shower at the end of the day.
The pods will be available for rent on a nightly basis, all year round.
A percentage of every booking from the glamping eco pods will be donated to subsidise weekends for the foster families and young carers.
